Hi everybody. I had all kinds of software troubles with my KC-80 and it wouldn't let me do anything. So I reinstalled the software. I have two cds. One is dKCS-XPe-6.8.0-03 and the other is dKCS-XPe-SP3-7.2.275-02. So, when I install the newer one I get all the error words in all the boxes in Production Station. If I use the older one it seems to at least get me close. I am pretty sure before it crashed I was using the newer one because the Unattend "U" was at the top right corner of my screen. The older one puts a minimized box at the bottom. Anyway, with the older one I can at least get to the ? in Production Station. Here are my findings. When I hit the ? the IPS number is blank, S/N say not entered, Firmware version - N/A and Printer Eprom is blank. When I go to Unattend.ini and look around the Machine ID is blank, Password is blank, Keycode is blank. I am really not sure what is suppose to be in all these places if anything at all. Can someone please give me a hand with this. It was running fine until one morning when I came in and it all started with a runtime error 52 I believe.
