We just installed a Kip 7770. The windows driver on Win 7 machines are no problem, but when I try to select a paper size, or access printer preferences on an XP machine the preferences screen briefly flashes and then goes away. Any suggestions?
Thank You
Alan

Check Securities tab, make sure everyone has full control. If a certain person only has the permission to "print" and not able to "manage printer" or 'manage document", Printing Preferences might not be allowed to open. I'm not 100% sure but I know that permissions has alot to do with funky issues with the WPD and Request/Print... |

Hello:
I WIN XP there is no securities tab. There is a security tab in windows 7 when you rignt click and then go to printer properties. I have found a work around though. In the print dialog box, when using Acrobat Reader X, there is a tab called page setup. If you click that it gives you the option to pick page sizes. For now this works, but if there is any other info on getting the printing preferences screen to stay open, I would like to hear from someone on that.
Thanks
Alan
