does anyone know of a website to get manuals. I do get some from smpcshop.com but they do not have one for a HP Designjet 111

You can get most of the HP Designjet manuals from Parts Now:
www.partsnow.com
You have to have an account to sign up for a log in. I just checked, they do not have the 111 manual but they do have the 120.
