Customer sent me a copy of a 24x36 scan. It has no correct image. It only has literally hundreds of horizontal lines that fill up the entire 24x36 sheet and they are broken up evenly into 5 blocks (side by side). Then they also provided a pdf file where the image shown is 36x0.04. They can reboot the scanner and get it to work for a little bit then it starts screwing up again. Anyone seen anything like this before?[/img]

If you have access to a re-flow oven some of those boards can be repaired. It's usually because of a cold solder joint from manufacturing.

There is a guy on eBay selling a KIT to make your own re-flow oven from a toaster oven. Works better than many of the re-flow ovens you can buy and for cheap.
