OKI has expressed interest for years about making a large format version of their single pass technology.
Maybe this is what they are doing in order to bring it to market. With the new HP and the MemJet stuff out there and the KIP Color they may want to make a go of it.
Makes sense to buy a company already positioned in the market of wide format.
Should be interesting.
