Stop reading if whiners bother you. The new replacement corona wires are now held in place with dots/stickers that are just short of impossible to peel off without screwing up the end piece. This change was probably in response to complaints about the old stickers not holding well enough. If there's a secret way to peel them off I'd like to know how to do it. KIP, tell your supplier to find stickers that aren't so sticky. What a PIA. _________________ Regards,

The green dot sticker is what KIP used for many years then they switched to a green piece of tape. After KIP made the switch last year I had to return close to $1000 worth of wires because they all came loose off the spool because the tape didn't stick. I always peel the green dot stickers from the wire side away and never have had an issue. |

At least I can still see the green dots. Now seeing the wires themselves is a whole different story. |
