We just upgraded to the latest Printnet software and are getting an error message that states:
Text string #5246 not found in the resource file!
c:\Windows\system32\ipslang.dll8/26/2013 11:01:58 AM

and

Text string #5244 not found in the resource file!
c:\Windows\system32\ipslang.dll8/26/2013 11:01:58 AM

If we press ok, Printnet will continue to work, but these keep popping up and it get's annoying. Any suggestions?

I would reinstall making sure to right click and "run as admin" Also confirm the version installed matches the unattend version.

The first question I would have is how did you 'Upgrade to the latest version of PrintNET'? This is contained in the ghost image of the printer controller (IPS) and cannot be upgraded as a standalone product.

The error that you are seeing is the fact that in order for the software to be localized (languages other than US), there are #s for each word that is on the user interface. These are then correlated to the ipslang.dll and the correct word/phrase is shown on screen for the proper language.

This error that you are seeing is that the user interface has a resource # that it is looking for within IPSLang.dll and cannot find it. Essentially the user interface and IPSLang.dll is out of sync; this is why I asked the first question.

Sorry, mistyped, I mean KIP Print on the computers, not the Printnet software on the IPS.

We had to uninstall and reinstall, as tech2tech suggested, but rather than run as Admin, it was the person installing forgot to check enable unified accounting.
