I have a KIP 5000 that is not taking roller #2, it keeps kicking it out. I've swapped spindles, replaced the clutches, switched out the paper end clock sensor with the sensor from roll 1, replaced paper roll set sensor PH1B. The machine still is rolling back the roll of paper. What would you recommend doing next?
I'm really thinking this is a sensor causing this issue, but I can't pin-point which one! |

I had the same problem i fought for several hours, exchanging the clutches between rolls fixed my problem, it is possible you just swapped clutches around but maybe the clutch used has the same problem? I know these clutches tend to overdrive when they get old and that creates issues with sensors. |

We had already swapped the clutches.
Problem was the bushings around the pulse disk shaft were plugged up with grime causing the pulse disk to not spin via friction drive.
