Last week I did the first KIP700m Service Kit A replacement. Now, everytime the machine starts to print a page, it sounds like there is too much tension on the rollers, then as soon as the paper is cut, the sound gets twice as loud. I've taken the dev. unit out, doublechecked the gears, pressures. Made sure all gears are in synch, not sure what I did. The only thing mechanical I really did was pull the belt off the left side of the dev. unit so that I could pull it out. I didn't adjust any belts or anything else, so this has me scratching my head. Anyone come across this before? |

FYI: The new tr/sep assy wouldn't sit correctly in it's home position and when I closed the clam, it would rub against the rubber rollers causing a rubber dragging noise. I re-installed the old tr/sep assy with new corona wires and all is good. Visually, I couldn't see anything different between the old and new assemblies but, it is what it is. |
