I have a 3000 that will NOT go to SLEEP. We have the WARM Timer set to 15 minutes and the COLD Timer set to 30 minutes. At 15 it goes in to sleep mode. At 30 minutes it comes back online and is ready to print. The machine has version 7.1.xx. Am I missing a setting or is the time between warm and cold mode too short or what? I am at a loss. Anybody with a suggestion please advise.
Thanks. |

As long as you don't have any timers set to wake it up, it shouldn't wake unless a print job is sent to it or a cover is opened or the touch screen depressed. The earlier versions of 7.x software had issues with the timers, 7.2.348 fixed them. You may also want to check the serial connector on the back of the IPS from the UPS, make sure it is plugged in to the right connector, and not the firmware update connector.
I believe your problem is the version of operating system though. |

If you are on 7.1, I would suggest updating to 7.2. |
