Just seeing if anyone has had this problem where the machine LED panel says its ready. The IPS is on,but says its not connected.
I have done several things to check the connection.
1. Moved the PCI position of the IF card.
2. Did a factory restore
3. Did a CD restore then the problem seemed to go away.
Then i got a email saying it was not communicating again. so i am not sure otherwise replaceing the IPS. Since this is an older 3100. |

'Not communicating' doesn't seem like a real error message that would be shown on the touch screen interface.
Is it possible to be more specific as to exactly what you are seeing and experiencing?
Just by reading this, I am thinking this has something to do with networking... |

If the LED panel is showing the rolls sizes loaded, but the touch screen doesn't show the rolls, I would think that Unattend isn't loading.
When odd problem with the KIPs happen I usually first run a check disk on the C & D drives. Fixes 75% of software issues. |

This is a good place to start and I would also just close the touch screen user interface to see what is going on. From that vantage point, you should be able to see if Unattend is loaded and if there are any errors at all present on the system. |
