Does anyone know if a 2100 can be used with a KIP 7770 or 7970 model? |

I want to say no because these models are Win7. I believe the XP IPS controllers were preloaded with the software for these scanners. If you were using a STF PC, you had to load all of the drivers but if using an XP IPS Controller, you only had to plug in the USB and I believe it would recognize the 2100. The TWAIN software that runs these 2100/2200 scanners are not compatable with WIN7. |

According to the info I have from KIP it will work with a new 7770,7970 or 9900, but it is not just a order the printer and hook it up and all works.
For a single footprint setup with an existing KIP 600/720/2100/2300
1st you have to order the printer, then a monochrome scan to file code and a color scan to file code and you may have to order a dongle.
Your KIP rep should be able to get you the specifics. |
