what is happening when the stacker is not communicating? are prints not routed to the proper tray in the stacker? if this is the case the solenoid that controls the gate may need cleaned and the bearings on the gate shaft may need lubed as well. if this still does not fix the issue then replace the solenoid.
this is all assuming the gate is what is not working properly _________________ Ken |

Yankeeboy, were you able to clear up this problem?? I have a 3000 that has started doing the same thing with a 300 stacker. The printer is T&M so I don't want to spend any more time than necessary. _________________ Regards,
