Is anyone actually going to IRGA this year. What do you expect to see?
Will KIP be showing anything new, or just be counting the $$$ from the 3000?

I am told Xerox will be making a push to sign up dealers, anyone heard this?

I had heard a rumor a month or so ago that KIP was going to introduce a color machine. However, I have not been able to confirm this.

I heard they were going to show the 3000 with color scanning.

Kip showed two new products, the 5000 and the Kip Color 80

Kip 5000:
Basically a 6000 printer with a separate scanner from the 3000. It has an option to scan in color and uses the same touchscreen interface as the 3000.

Kip Color 80:
80mm Full Color 600DPI, four rolls, seems to take about the same footprint as an 8000, but quite a bit taller. Prints using CMYK and the output looked pretty impressive, not as good as an ink-jet but pretty good.
