| I was recently called out to look at a client's 5000 and found that three gears on the right side of the developer were broken thus leaving excess toner on the drum. I replaced all of the damaged gears, and now the prints look to have light splotches in the center of the print and excess toner streaks throughout the entire print. Just wondering if I may have missed something while installing the new gears, also I have checked the blade in the developer and it seems to be functioning properly. Also replaced the charge wire just to make certain that the black streaks weren't being caused by it. Thanks in advance people of the internet! |
