I have a 3000 that has the newest e-prom, 6.2, and all.
It was running fine until we moved it for a demo.
Drawer 1 will try to print and nothing is on the paper. Internal test pages, scans, or plots come out of the back about 2.5 feet and the machine stops, and displays a J207 error. Roll 2 prints fine. Using 30 and 36 inch 20# bond.
Any suggestions?? |

Had problem like this because of a spindle that was loose. The core would slip halfway through a print and the machine would think it ran out of paper when it really didn't. Made the machine do really strange things. Check the spindle. |

The spindle is OK.
Also, the page that comes out is blank . And roll 2 actually prints fine.

Ended up being the roll one encoder sensor.
Funny it would feed 4 feet of paper before it gave an error..... |
