does any know what cause's banding on the kc 80 I cleaned all the wires they look good everything else is up to date what is it that i'm missing. you can see it in the blues, red, green, orange colrs like that

Did you try wiping down the printheads?

I have seen those cause issues like this.

CJ, I did wipe down the print heads and changed the ads wires and charge wires. cleaned t/s wires. also did some adjustments with no results.

I see that you said it happens in reds, oranges, blues, and green. Have you tried printing the test print that shows cyan, yellow, black, and magenta? It's been awhile since I have worked on one, so I can't tell you which test print it is for sure. I can tell you that it prints each color separately on the same test print. You can determine from there which process unit is being affected if the banding just shows up on one of the colors. If it shows up on all of them, then I would say it is happening after the process units.

After digging into this further found that yellow dev unit needs to be replaced. will let you know the results.
