hi
I have a Kip 3000 that the IPS motherboard overheated due to a very dirty evironment. Cleaned up the IPS tested ok at first then the video goes wacky.
The M/B is running very hot.
1. Has anyone tried turning off onboard video and installing a pci video card?

| That is a very common problem with those controllers, especially the white boxed controllers. Typically there are 1 to 3 capacitors in the middle of the board that start to bulge on the top and they need to be replaced. I have never had any luck trying to add a video card to those controllers. |
