Getting e51-02 at the end of long prints.. it appears to be cutter related.. As we only get the error at the end of a cut. When Irun the cut signals in diagniostics.. the cutter runs to the right perfect.. when it runs to the left the motor keeps running and running. I am going to swap out the cutter. I thought all e51 issues were high voltage? does the -02 mean anything to anyone here?

E51 is a High Voltage Power Supply error. The 2 (as in E51-2) means that the error is in the Transfer corona. 1 is Image corona and 4 is Separation corona. There are more, but if you look in the service manual there is a list of the errors.

Not sure how the error relates to the cutter but if you find out, please post..

Take the cover off the front that covers the cutter and run diagnosics to see what you are hearing, to confirm that the motor is not slipping when cutting to the left. You could have a bad sensor on the left side. I believe when the cutter moves over the sensor, the signal is to stop the motor.

change the transfer wire that will fix it 99% of the time if not change end blocks. Transfer is the single wire in the TS unit. Double wires is separation, that almost never go bad.

also how long are "long prints"? if the motor on the cutter keeps running and running to the left the only thing you may have to do for that is flex the little flag on that sensor but be careful not to flex to far or break it. just enough to get it to perform correctly. dlee is correct about the code though, it is sep. try a new wire. if you string them yourself, you may have to try a few times or even adjust the separation height if the prints are abnormally long.
