I have a new 3000 in the field that is having problems with the bypass not working consistantly. Sometimes it will take the paper and other times it will not recognize paper was inserted until you turn the machine off and on again. The machine will sometimes accept the cutsheet but then will print from the roll. |

Make sure they select cutsheet, then make the copy first. Don't try to insert the cutsheet paper until the machine beeps for paper.
Don't insert the cutsheet first, then copy. |
