Kip 2050 that when you turn it on it dose the lens bump and ect , the lamp never cycle on and if I remember right there suppose too. Then it never come out of please wait. I have talk to a Kip rep with no help on this. I have replace the power supply, Drive PWB and the DC CPU PWB, With no help looking for who has seen this or has a Idea and can point me in the right direction. one of the lens "home position sensors" may not be functioning properly

there is also a sub power supply
does fan FM-1 power on?

1) turn off scanner
2) press and hold (start) & (1) and power on scanner.
This will bypass the CCD calibration.
Then maybe you can figure out what's going on.
