I've got a 721 (aka 8000). It gets toner on the back of the prints at almost the bottom of the trailing edge, almost all the way across. If I clean the machine, it goes away for a couple of days then comes back. Any ideas on a cause??? |

I have seen the T/S assy cause this before. The mylar strip on it was building up with toner and rubbing off on the back of the prints. After reforming the metal a little to get the mylar strip further from the drum, it seemed to go away. |

are you using oem toner? I have seen this problem with people who use after market toner on the kips. They would clean up the machine and then it would come back after a few days. after they went back to oem tomer the problem went away. |
