I'm fixen to git ready to sight in a Marlin 1895 45/70 in the next week or two. Have pretty much decided to stick with Hornady Leverevolution 325. Just wondering what you're experiences are as to effective range, bullet drop and the like. 100-150yds seems reasonable but I'm not firm on that. _________________ Regards,

This weekend answered some questions but not others:
Recoil is similar to a 12ga slug gun. Bullet drop past 200 yds is like shooting basketballs, quite an arc. Lastly, a 405 grain bullet causes mucho damage to anything it comes in contact with. IT'S perfect for the cats in the neighborhood! _________________ Regards,
