I have a kip 2200 scanner when you scan a yellow original in color you get light blue streaks going through the scanned image.
The shading calibration has been done and did not help.
The scanner glass looks perfect, I removed it and cleaned both sides.
I am think of replacing the lamps next along with the scanner glass.
Does any one have any other ideas? |

Figured out if you have the contrast slider bar too far to the left ( In the color max software) the scanned images will have the streaks though them.
Lamps did not help at all.
We found that our other 2200's do the exact same thing. |

I just looked up that Tech Tip K98 -003. All it says is to replace the lamps.
Wow! Thanks a lot KIP tech support.
How about really addressing the problem.
Destin, try the tip jduggan suggested. Way better advice than you are going to get from KIP. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |
