My KIP 6000 internal controller takes a while to boot up when I turn it on. The screen says "verifying dmi pool data...", then goes to the checking memory screen, then starts the process over. It will eventually boot up and open unattend.

When I send a print job, it may print a couple pages, then print a blank page and the controller reboots. It may reboot even before printing a page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might have a hard drive starting to fail. I might reghost the controller hard drive first though. It also might be a power supply but the slow booting sounds more like the hard drive to me.

I tried to ghost a new hard drive and had the same problem. Is it possible that is could be the power supply?

It could be the power supply or maybe swollen/leaky capacitors on embedded controller motherboard

Can be motherboard or the cpu is overheating, try to remove heatsink and clean top of cpu and put new silicone thermal paste on it. Also make sure cooling fan on cpu is working

I changed the power supply and that fixed the problem. Thanks for the help!
