Hi everyone, a collegue has install a rebuilt Kip1900 today and the customer found it was not scale at 100%. We look in service manual and nothing talk about scaling or Drum speed. There is only fuser speed adjustement.
The image is too small as for 6mm on a 24" copy.
I read some post on other machine and suggests are "document feed roller" but they are in metal in my machine..."Driving belt": maybe..."Fixing speed": not sure for my problem, if it's was for longer print yes but not smaller...So I tought about a spool brake for the paper roll or something braking the paper passage: maybe...
Like I said, the machine was install by a collegue and is on the site right now and he's not good in english...that why I asking for him...
Did someone have a idea about that ?
Thanks |

Hi Slyman
You may want to try some Anti Static Spray or Fluid on the Feedboard and rollers. Static may be holding your original back, causing longer prints. I think there is a + - distortion allowance of 1% on a D size copy. I may be thinking of a different machine??
Good Luck
