Last week I order a Dev unit turning handle for the 3000, I just wonder if you all think like I do. Dose KIP think there parts are made of gold. I would like to hear your feed back on this

Actually I believe the attitude at K mart is that they are made of Plutonium. Some of the prices are insane. Ever try ordering the metal gears for the 8000 dev unit? $134 for one gear. It is a very very nice gear though.

Well number one I have only seen a picture in the manual
second the the tool has a one way bearing so you can't turn the unit backward.
So can you make one I don't know Rolling Eyes

Having worked as a narrow format tech for many years I thought I had seen some expensive parts, then I went to rebuild a 8000 dev unit.
WOW!! They want how much for those gears?
They were well made gears Wink
