It was a snoozer!
Not much to report, KIP will be releasing 7.0 software in June.
OCE showed off the Plotwave 300.
Nothing new with Xerox.
Ricoh will be releasing there 14 "D"s a minute machine, but no new software.
Canon has a couple nice new plotters.
Nothing new with HP.

See ya in Palm Springs next year.

No new machines for KIP.
7.0 will allow you to print and scan to and from a USB or CD hooked directly to the IPS.
We will be able to Map a drive and print right from the touch panel.
They made Printnet much more like Request.

The also came up with a color cost calculator for the KC80.

Tell me more about printing from the touch panel. I thought 6.5 was able to do that now.

You can, but only through an SMB folder.
Now you can Map a drive, it no longer has to be tied to SMB.
