I need to ship a KIP2050 scanner. Any suggestions on how to do it for maximum protection and minimum damage? I don't have any of the pallets laying around that they come in, so that would be out of the question. Thanks.

Didn't know you were looking for one. We just sold this one last week, I just need to figure a way to ship it now. If I come across another one, you'll be the first to know, though. OK, sorry DOC.

No problem. What did you end up getting for it if you don't mind me asking?

to ship them it is always best to lock the ccd back down by moving the screws in the back of the scanner back up to the top holes. (these screws are black if i remember correctly)

and put a few layers of paper towel on the scanner glass so it wont get scratched when moning it around. and last i shroink wrap the sides of the scanner about 1 foot in to keep the lid from opening up durning transportation.

hope this helps ya.
