It is indeed odd that it would be looking for a second roll module. Try performing the set unit configuration utility through diagnostic mode. That may help you along the way past the 84.1:0 ...

It could be that the trail edge of the print is too close to the end of the paper and the trail edge void is limiting the print. Try extending the cut length of the printer for that size roll.
