The two above scanners are identical except that the KIP600 usb driver does not work on the Graphtec scanner.

It really depends on what type of repeat it is...

#1 Check distance with a ruler between repeats.
approx. 9.5" means it's drum related
approx. 7" means it's fuser related

Turning "Transfer support ON" will slightly increase the amount of voltage on the trasfer wire, thus ensuring proper toner transfer from the drum to the paper. This may or may not solve the issue, but ...

Could be a flakey file. I inow it's not much help.
I've seen files fail 2 or 3 times in a row (printing a bad file page). And then all of a sudden work (and then later fail again).

Hello,
I'm getting E-031 and E-034 erros on a 5000.
Happens every 1000 prints or so and will stop the machine
with a print 3/4 the way out of the fuser.

Not effictiently, no. You can create whatever prefix you like and it will automaticaly use numerical increments.
You would have to rename them later (in one session) rather than on ...

You should be able to choose the SMB (Server message block) option and set it up to scan directly to folder(s) anywhere on the network. It's way faster and easier. No need to run scan software on a PC ...
