You need to patch the IPS to the most recent version of either 6.5 or 7.2. If you are using 6.5 on the IPS with Windows 7 machines you need to install the mixed environments patch from Kip on the IPS ...

Uncheck "NO transparency" in Printnet... See if that works.

Kip GL is basically the driver that works with HPGL2 and the default pen tables in the ini file.
