Oops, I forgot that the web VNC could send a ctrl-alt-del. Sorry. But it does allow you to support your customer without them ever knowing the service code.

There is a way round this. It's not pretty though. I would never give out the service code for obvious reasons.

Hi,

In the diagnostics folder on the desktop you'll find the Services icon. In there browse the Services (Local) branch and you'll find the Windows Firewall/ICS service. It can be disabled there.
