Upgrade kits are no longer avail for that printer.
They only allowed upgrading to 5.5 as well.

I just use triflow lubricant.
Cost about $3 for a small bottle.
Been using it for years never had any issues.

You could just change the developer roller, vacuum off the supply brush.
Just be careful to put it all back together properly.

Do you tie your own t/s wires or using prestrung wires.

I have the same thing happening on my 9000 with 2 million square on it.
What did you do to fix it?

I stand corrected.
Most of the time though the nameplate is correct on the scanner.

Check and make sure the interlock for the fuser door is getting closed all the way.
Sounds like an interlock issue to me.
