| Found the problem. The right front brass bushing on the transport belt unit would seize up sometimes and cause the belts to stop driving. It had actually worn into the shaft |

Does it need to be to at a certain version of firmware.
I don't work on a lot of Kips and this is the first 7170. ... |

Customer says display says no input. They are 100 miles out. I am thinking the ips power supply. Cant remember what it looks like. The book calls it a DTX-36
is it something i dont have to buy from K ... |
