Thanks, when I called Kmart they told me to change the chip to KST08 and then turn dip switch 1 to the on position. Just in case I figured I ask here first so I don't look stupid in front of the custo ... |

I have a KIP 6000 with a 1200 stacker and Eprom KST09 with dip switches at the top. What could I do to get it to work with a Kip 7900. I can't seem to find it in the manual.

kip says i have to purchase entire cutter assy for the switches on either side. i'm just looking for the switches. 4 to be exact. can anyone help? |

I did try that it seems as though it starts to skew. On a 24x36 print on the right hand side I get 24 inch's some times more sometimes less and on the left hand side of the I get 24 1/2 or more inches ... |

Just an update I still have not been able to figure this out. It cuts on an angle only when the roll goes down to about an inch or less. On a full roll it prints great. It happens on all draws. Replac ... |

If you run a test print at 18" long the left side will cut 17 1/2 and the right side will be 18 inches. It happens on all draws and different test lengths. Sometimes the length varies also.

I went to a customer and he asked me if his scanner was a 2080 or 2050 scanner. On the kip Scan software it says 2050 but on the front panel it says 2080. Is there a way to find out? I am not trained ... |

For some reason everything in the bios was set to disable. I enabled it and now it is fine.
