Well, I use a very thick 100 micron wire, opposed to the flimsy 80 micron wire recommended by KIP.
I don't get too many E-51's on the K2000. or K6000's either. Just a thought. |

I used to have a big can of blue silicon brake grease. Worked like a champ in situations like this. You can get a high temp silicon grease at any auto parts store fairly cheap. |

It likes to stick. Since it is near the fuser lamp, lube the bottom two gears along the chain path with a very heavy heat resistant lube. Try not to get anything that will run off the chain. I am s ... |

One "tech tip" that I seem to remember working was taking the "L" shaped bracket out of the dev. unit. It was right under the toner hopper. That stopped the "tracks" for me. |

I have a customer that during the winter months has a very dry condition. The vellums get too "static-y" and won't allow a good transfer. Any ideas?? |
