| I have seen this on 3000's . Check the tension on the belt that drives the fuser on the left side of machine. |

I have a KIP 3100 that doesnt finish the roll of paper.
It will leave about 30 m on the roll and default to the next roll.
Just want some advise before I go out there.

Its most probably the fuser drive gear thats broken part no 4612a-20.
Remove fuser unit and you will find the gear on the right inside the machine also check the fuser unit self for the cause of brea ... |

| Did you swop the cables? I had a similar problem on a 2000 it turned out to be the IF Lead on the printer also check your IF lead |

I have a customer who "must" use a Vista pc to do the scanning. Pain in the ass |

| I have installed a KIP 3100 on a few Vista 64 bit workstations and I have used the drivers that I got for the KC80 .In the list of machines 3100 is there and I have all the paper sizes I need. |
